Crooked Island Bone Fishing

The flats fishing on the south side of Crooked Island has some of the friendliest bonefish found anywhere.  By limiting our operation to six boats per week we hope to ensure this quality of fishing for many years to come.  The average bonefish is around three to four pounds, and shots at six to eightHeidi Kenyon with a nice bonefish (photo by Carter Andrews) pounders daily.  Last season there were over a dozen bone fish or more caught over ten pounds.  Permit can be found most of the year and the guides are eager to fish for them.  We are not a tarpon destination but good numbers are being jumped and landed in late spring and summer.  Sharks and barracudas are abundant on the flats and make for lots of excitement.

Season:

December-February     very good
March - July               excellent
October-November      very good
